CDPAP Caregiver Requirements

What are the requirements for a CDPAP caregiver?

The caregiver you wish to hire must meet the following requirements:

They must be at least 18 years of age
They must be legally allowed to work in the United States
The cannot be the consumer’s spouse
They cannot be the consumer’s parent unless the consumer is 21 or older
They cannot be the consumer’s “designated representative” when the consumer cannot direct their own care
They must provide any required documentation
